I have an important announcement to make:
MakingMilly.com will no longer exist in a few weeks!
Don’t worry. I will preserve all of the past posts and even add a few more, but they will be hosted elsewhere. I’m still developing my method, but it may be through automated email requests, a combination of a Facebook group and email hosted articles or through a public Google Drive folder.
Either way, you will need to join my mailing list to get the initial links so you know where to go once they are set up.
I promise I will not spam you and no one else will see your email address. After I get it set up, it will be really easy to unsubscribe if you so choose. Unsubscribing before then may not work since I’m manually working with two email lists, but an email to makingmilly.com asking to unsubscribe will always work.
Just click on the image below to stay on this journey with me.
Some posts you really don’t want to loose:
If you aren’t going to join my mailing list (and miss out on my research based, multiple part financial crisis preparation plan!), make sure to save these onto your computer so you don’t loose them forever.
Ones I go back to for reference all the time:
Recipe Costs (modify it for your costs and pantry items)
Really good one time reads:
How to Pay off your House for Much Less (my all time most viewed post)
What is the S&P 500 Long-Term Return? (boring for non-geeks, but it is important to realize that financial planners are citing old numbers)
What Your Cable REALLY Costs You and What to Do about it (note: this isn’t just about cable or Netflix, neither of which I pay for)
Inflation – a Tax on your Savings (I want every American to read this one)
What is Money? and the US Dollar Machine (it may feel like trivia, but it will serve you to understand the fundamentals during the next financial upheaval)
How NOT to Prepare for the Economic Crisis (spoiler for the upcoming financial crisis preparation plan, financial preparation isn’t nearly as important as emotional, social preparation, emotional preparation, or practical education!)
Bitcoin vs. Gold (more of a fun “what if?” analysis, but you should understand this stuff before buying Bitcoin)
